At Apple's annual conference WWDC 2023, the company founded by Steve Jobs announced the release of its latest operating system, iOS 17. iOS 17 is one of the most anticipated updates for iPhone users. Apple has released some information about the new features and improvements that iOS 17 brings.

GizChina reported on Tuesday (June 6) that Apple iOS 17 will focus on customizing the lock screen interface and pay more attention to detail optimization.

We also introduced the ability to edit and recall messages to iMessage. There is also a new feature called smart islands that can support real-time activities such as game scores.

 

Features and updates for the iOS 17 operating system include:

1. Apple Poster

Apple introduced a feature in iOS 17 called Posters for Contacts. This feature allows users to use framed images during calls. As soon as a user calls a contact, the "poster" is displayed in full screen on the other's iPhone.

2. Language updates

Voicemail also has a new Live Transcript feature that allows users to see real-time transcripts of messages left by callers.

3. Latest News

Messages updates include voicemail transcription and a new set of features called "Check-ins" that provide real-time location and status to meeting participants.

4. NameDrop

Apple has also updated his AirDrop, introducing a feature called NameDrop. More on this feature later. Additionally, in iOS 17, Apple has updated the keyboard input method and improved the autocorrect feature. Apple says the move is to update to a new language model and simplify existing shortcuts.

5. Siri

Another system change in iOS 17 is “Hey Siri”. After the word "Hey" is removed, the user can simply say "Siri" to activate the voice assistant.

6. Smart Home Lock Screen

One of the most interesting new features of iOS 17 is his smart home lock screen. This feature will allow users to control their smart home devices directly from their smartphones. Users can turn on lights, adjust thermostats and unlock doors without unlocking their phones.

7. Control Center

iOS 17 brings significant improvements to Control Center. The new Control Center has a more intuitive design, making it easier for users to access the features they need. 12. Health

13. Carplay

iOS 17  also brings important updates to CarPlay. The new CarPlay enables deeper integration into the vehicle, allowing users to control more functions directly from the car's dashboard. The new app has more customization options, allowing users to prioritize the features that matter most to them.
